About Me
I have updated this profile so many times since I created my account this is just butchering at that point. And I'm still not any better at introducing myself.
Ravie d'aider sur des chantiers (petits ou gros bricolages), apprendre ou épauler selon mes aptitudes sur le sujet.
Just know that I am open-minded, into art, nice people, logical thinking and an enemy of "common sense". I like people doing stuff they like and people generous enough to provide a couch for fellow travellers :)
Just check my reviews I guess, my previous hosts and guests were very nice to me! (except one complete idiot who was a sexist and creepy idiot).
When hosted I am respectful, I will care for your place, your stuff, your sleep and your person. I am not the most talkative or effusive, and I might not be the guest that you will remember your whole life, but at least you will not regret having me!
When I host, I expect people the same kind of behaviour: the minimum would be to not leave mess behind you, as I will care for you but I'm not your carer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had the chance to host people from Slovenia, Spain and France when I was in Nantes for my studies with a flat mate and then many people from Europe and Asia when I was in Rennes. I also stayed at great people's places in Ljubljana and Trieste. (Edit: And such amazing people in Japan!) And when I have enough room and time to host someone so I'm happy to share.
Whether it'd be to help out someone who just need to crash or to spend good times together, I will respect your wish :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Directors : Jim Jarmusch, Godard, Christophe Honoré, Pasolini, Fellini, Ozon, Edgar Wright...
Series : Rick&Morty, Misfits, Queer as Folk, Orange is the new black, Doctor Who, Kaamelott...
Writers : André Gide, Thomas Mann, Dostoievski, Edgar Allan Poe (those are the most important to me, but god there are too many moving authors and books).
(Edit 2020: in this old list there is only male artists (except for Jenji Kohan with Orange is the new black). For some time now I've been reading and consuming art made by female or at least more representative. I should update this list since I discovered maaaany valuable ones!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took my backpack and went visiting my friend who were studying in Tromsø, Norway, at the time. That was my first trip, and it made me deeply addicted to travelling!
Since that, Japan 2017 and hopefully much more to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have phases I guess, now I want to know more about buddhism and taoism, I just started doing Taichi and I love it. My plan for this year is to improve my spanish and learn some japanese, while I'm in masters in Linguistics. I'm learning new things everyday and that's what keep me going.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I enjoy meeting locals and discovering the small differences, I like big discussions about how we see and inhabit the world, and basically anything you are passionate about I should be as well :D
As a host, I can provide a mattress, for sure. Food, I have some! And I would try to find events happening. Oh and red wine if you like it.
