I come from Liege (south east of Belgium) where I have been studying Translation for 5 years. I graduated in June 2017 and took off 3 months later to travel around Australia for a year. I'm now back home and will stay in Belgium for a while.

I really like sports since I play handball and used to play tennis. When I was yougner, I also did gymnastics but I didn't have enough time for these three hobbies so I had to make a choice and it has settled on handball. The bottom line is I'm into sports ;-)

As for my family, I've always lived with my parents and my two siblings. We all really get on well which means I love company and hanging out with people to have a drink or share a dinner. Sometimes I also need to have some time for myself though and do my own thing... like anybody else :-)

Last but not least, since my Erasmus in Groningen, I've learnt that there's nothing better than discovering new horizons. Every time I get back from a trip abroad, it fills me up with delight. That's why I've caught that great bug called wanderlust and I'm not sure I want to let it go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've tried Couchsurfing several times and I've always received a great welcome from my hosts who were kind, helpful and generous. I'm still in touch with some of them, some came by Belgium too to say hi and others became friends. I didn't expect that and when I think about it, I'm truly grateful. When you're done traveling, you usually remember either the landscapes or the peeps you've met. Thanks to CS, I can remember both :-)

Interests

I like doing things I've never done before and I truly love to see how locals live. That's why I usually try to spend as much time as I can with my hosts to see their way of life.
