CURRENT MISSION
Discover what makes me come alive!
ABOUT ME
I'm a student at UNC-Chapel Hill studying physics with the hopes of working in alternative energy someday.
PHILOSOPHY
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” -Howard Thurman
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Traveling now, hopefully hosting later in life, when I have my own place!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had my first couchsurfing experience with a few friends in Charleston this past April and I loved it. Can't wait for more!
Interests
I love to run, cook, read, and adventure. Running: anywhere and anytime, but especially exploring new trails. Cooking: anything, but I especially love cooking with chanterelle mushrooms. Reading: my favorite book of all time is Cloud Atlas, and I am always looking for suggestions. Adventuring: anything from an evening trip to a lake to a longer backpacking trip. I just love being outside!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done two three-day solos, where I camped for three days on my own. The first was in the woods in Vermont, and the second was in the desert in California. I believe that everyone should spend three days completely alone at some point in their life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn German. I can teach some physics if you are interested, and a little bit about how solar cells work!
