About Me

Well there's a lot I could say, but I guess I should keep this brief. I am a concert piano technician by trade, so I tune and repair/rebuild pianos. I also work nights as a waiter for the fun of it! I love to meet people and go out an explore. Life is no fun staying cooped up in one room or just in one area. I love any excuse I can find to go explore are me! Sometimes I do this alone, but now many times I explore with my partner Brad. (Important to note that yes, I'm gay). It's an interesting life that has taken me all over the world, and now I want to try to do it this way. It seems more my style!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost any kind of music. I worked on my degree in music performance, so classical music is definitely what I am trained in; but I love all forms of music. I love to see how music connects people, how it forces interaction, how it changes a mood or sets a tone, how it interconnects, how it fits in, and how it effects people.

Movies? Please, more like Movies! There aren't many I won't see, and if I won't then typically it's because it has Will Ferrel in it. I hate that man as an actor.

Lastly, books? My home has three libraries in it. One for classics, one for music, and one for pleasurable reading. I was reading at a college level by 10 years old. I love books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's hard... I mean I get to tune pianos for some really cool people at concerts, and that always blows people away. But one amazing thing to me that I have done is getting to go to Europe and just organ-hop. Playing organs all over Europe from all different times just by coming in off the street. To me that is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach? I can teach you history, all about a piano, music, beekeeping whatever weird thing like that. But I like learning more! We are all lifelong learners, for me; I take more joy in learning from people.

Sharing? I share all that I have. It is how I was raised. If you need, you need only ask.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a great conversation over wine, play piano with you, laugh at trips past and the old war-stories of travel, or even tune your old piano. Haha, I think it all varies and really just depends on the hosts.
