About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spend a beautiful summer on a beautiful island with my doggy and my friends!
ABOUT ME
I am a lady that likes a lot of random things, from sports to robots to really bad sci-fi movies. By trade I am a graphic designer, but I currently am working random seasonal jobs to pay off my student loans, but still get to spend time in new and exciting places. I love dogs and cats, the weirder looking the better. I really like to knit! And I also love to sail! I have a big goofy dog named Harvey and he's the bees knees...we do everything together!
PHILOSOPHY
Once I heard that when you die, if someone thinks back about your life and smiles or has a laugh that you lived a good life. I know it sounds kind of corny but I think it makes sense. If I can make at least one other person in the world laugh for a few minutes everyday I consider it a good day. I think that it's whack that people don't barter and trade their goods anymore, and that money is a superfluous waste of ink and paper.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My pooch (Harvey) and I are always looking forward to meeting more new and exciting people. I also plan on surfing the CS community once I pay off my gal'darn student loans and get to travelling more.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some cool people through hosting surfers. I'm not shy, most of the time, so I love meeting new people from anywhere and everywhere and sharing the places I love.
Interests
Soccer, music, robots, sushi, pizza, skiing, yetis, animals, radio shows, reading, political awareness and activism, free speech and human rights!... and chinchillas.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much most music, except modern country. I love quirky funny books, and all sorts of movies from horror to documentary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was staying on a small island near Port Hardy, BC we hung out with some wild sea lions while I was kayaking around the island.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make some tasty vegetarian dishes, I can let you play with my antique collector toy robots, I can talk your ear off about soccer too if you want. We could have some tea and rant about politics and world issues, or we could just enjoy the sights of the beautiful rocky mountains.
