Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve got a teacher’s budget, and now that my kid is in college, I want to catch up on everything I’ve been wanting to go do and see.

Interests

Musicals, master classes, karaoke, trivia, animals, crystals… I’m sure there’s more. I’ve also been wanting to get back out into nature. Sup and kayaking fascinate me. I’d also love to go to a state that has actual seasons and something other than flat land.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gah. Everything. I listen to pretty much everything. Love musicals, weird alternative, hip hop, pop, ska, swing, punk…

I’m usually reading books for the classroom, which means plays, theatre theorists, and world theatre traditions.

I rarely have the attention span for movies, but when I do, it’s usually either intellectual or stupid comedy. I don’t want to think. Just want to laugh.
