Overview
About Me
I am Cordell Harrison Conrad. I am from western Pennsylvania. I'm obsessed with travel, culture, literature, music, current events, history and cuisine. I want to share all of those things with as many people as I possibly can.
This is actually my second Couchsurfing profile, my old profile I've had for years can't be accessed because all my information for it was tied to my old phone, which I broke on a beach in California.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share my life and my experiences with other people, make lasting friendships, and to reciprocate the unlimited kindness that people have given me thus far.
I want to feel the global exchange of cultures, the vibrancy of the eclectic mix of real people who make up the citizenry of the world, to make real connections with awesome people in cities all over the world in a way that I couldn't by just staying in a hotel room everywhere I go. When you stay in a hotel in a new town, it's hard to get a local's eye view of each city, which is what I prize most in each place I go. I want to be able to spend time with local people everywhere i go and not just be relegated to the popular tourist destinations. I want to learn real things from real cultures from real people, and this is one of the best ways to accomplish those goals.

Books: Ulysses, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, The Importance of Being Earnest, To Kill a Mockingbird, War and Peace, The Ground Beneath Her Feet and Go Tell It On The Mountain are a few of my favorites.
My favorite authors are: Hunter Thompson, Salman Rushdie, and Oscar Wilde.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm currently writing a book about the diversity of American life that requires me to visit all 50 states and every territory from Guam to Puerto Rico. I'm almost at my goal.
