About Me
Hello and namaste everybody,
my name is Cordula but everyone calls me Cordi. Originally from Austria, I embarked on a 2 year around the world trip after graduating from university. My travels have led me all over the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.
About 6 months into my journey, I found yoga in the Andean mountains of Ecuador. After completing my first teacher training, I passionately started to dive deeper into the world of yoga, breathwork, meditation and healing.
I now live in San Francisco, USA, where I offer free community yoga classes all over the city.
I love traveling, reading, being on my bike and going for some beautiful hikes - and yoga. Join me at one of my classes! I look forward to seeing you there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the concept of couchsurfing because it makes for a more authentic travel experience. Not just do the touristy stuff, but really hang out where the locals go, meet some fun people and friends for life.
Even though I'm not hosting atm (the space is just too small), I still love being involved in this community, sharing my love for yoga and hosting some fun outdoor events for all couchsurfers out there (best thing: they're FREE!)

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite book definitely Harry Potter. Game of Thrones. Classics like Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, the Picture of Dorian Gray. Game of Thrones. I will read literally anything that falls into my hands.
I used to be really into shows (like Rick and Morty, Archer, Southpark etc) but pretty much stopped watching when I started traveling full time. Only show I've recently binged was GoT.
Music: Bastille, Nahko, Angels and Airwaves, Mantras, Muse, die Aerzte ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- traveling the world for 2 years by myself!
- becoming a yoga instructor
- My Erasmus year in Spain was pretty cool, met some really nice people, went to spectacular places and it was the first time on my own.
- bungee jumping from a 70m tower in Spain was on of the most exciting experiences of my life.
- going to Tikal in Guatemala. One of the most breathtaking places I've ever been to.
- deciding to live my life as I want to live and and not go back home for my master's but keep traveling. Scariest and best decision I've made in my entire life
