ABOUT ME

I am slowly embracing my inner-adventurer. I am into gender/queer theory, complicated people, artists of all breeds, political histories, growing things, museum junkies, flying things, swimming things, self-publishing, good films, better reads, and quality correspondance.

PHILOSOPHY

Being nice, mostly. I believe that karma is a truly powerful force. I am learning to love without hesitation and trying to embrace the wider spectrum of what it means to be a person. In turn, I am trying to find ways to fight oppression and keep a vision for a better future. I think it's important to try to keep my eyes and ears open, my expectations low and my hopes high. Also: to gain energy, you must expel it. at the very least, keep writing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Common Ground in New Orleans, winter of 2007 was basically an intense form of Couch Surfing and where I heard of this network first.

and books books books - just picked up an anthology of Ms. magazine from the early 70's, been reading a lot of historical erotica lately (Story of O, Memoirs of Fanny Hill etc.) had a semester obsessed with Marquis de Sade and Simone de Beauvoir and am almost finished with Franny and Zooey by ye ole J.D. Salinger.
