Hi !

I'm Corentin, rather optimistic by nature, looking for ways to rethink social link by making art together and enhancing cultural diversity. I'll begin a master in sociology and documentary film next september. Otherwise I like to pick up sounds in my everyday life with a dictaphone. Maybe one day I'll edit them to make them become sound landscapes, who knows ?

I discovered this year that I could travel on my own, when I made a volunteering in Niger. To live with people that have a different culture, a different way of life, a different experience of religion was incredible. I realized that I couldn't understand everybody but I have to respect them for what they are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally I wanted to go to Berlin to visit a friend of mine. But unfortunately she is not there.
I decide to use Couchsurfing. I think it's a great mean to experience travelling. I don't want to do basic tourism.
I want to travel to new places, meet new people and learn from them, learn about their culture and way of life. Just share instants of everyday life.

Music, Movies, and Books

70% of the music I listen is actual French-speaking-rap/pop/rnb with mostly not so popular artists like Jorrdee, Timothée Joly, Michel, Meryl, Isha, Klô Pelgag, Laylow, Baloji, Dodi El Sherbini, Yelle, P. Katerine I would be really pleased to make you discover a few songs.
The remaining 30% are artists that amazed me sometime, as different as cosmic jazz from The Comet is Coming, electronic pop by Naeem, heady music by Anna Meredith, the beautiful voice of Leonard Cohen, the rythm of Mayra Andrade ......

Quarantine made me try SF literature : Isaac Asimov and Ursula Le Guin confirmed me on that way.
I love poetry and all of its contemporary shapes.

In cinema, I'm very eclectic and like films from Brazil, Argentina, France, USA, Taiwan, South Korea...

What I Can Share with Hosts
