About Me

Im an open minded person, always ready to meet/discover new things that life can bring. I've done a few things in my humble life, i had several different jobs for example. I was a seller (not a good one), sales representative (for a belgian beer brand, i now it's typical), accountant (the worst job i ever did in my life) and now i'm a cook since 5 or 6 years.
So i guess i can say, i dont like to stay in the same place for long.
I love to cook, eat, go out with my friends for parties with no ends, love the underground, hate the normal or hype thing to do at a precise moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because its a marvellous way to meet new culture here at home or travelling the best way possible cause its not in a guide that you gonna have an authentic touch of the country you visit, you have to go off the beaten tracks to feel the real thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I fell in love with rock a long time ago. Psychedelic/stoner rock to be more precise. So yeah im gonna say ===> BLACK SABBATH, queen of the stoneage, Hendrickx, the rolling stones and a lot of other band you certainly never heard off.
Movies:
The godfather ( one and two not the third).
Once upon a time in america.
American beauty.
Whiplash.
Shining.
Misery.
Breakingbad+Game of thrones are the best series in the world (for now).
Books:
Malevil - Robert Merle (my favorite)
The Cursed kings - Maurice Druont.
Steinbeck, Faulkner, Nothomb, .....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going in very very small town in a very very remote location in sweden for a very very small festival that i just heard off the day before.
The experience itself was totally unexpected and amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like my city, i know all the things to do at every moment of the year.
If you like to party, eat or discover parts of the citie that arent invaded by tourists that are interested by eating chocolates/waffels and drinking beers, then you really gonna like my advises.
I live in a very convenient area, just in front of a small tramway hub.
My appartment can host 1 person, i live in a 50 square meter flat.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The authentic Brussels. I've learn to avoid tourists in every country i visited, you should try and do the same here.
My love for food is limitless. That's one of the other reasons i like to host people from different culture. I will be forever in debt if you make me discover new type of food or ways to cook it. In exchange it will my pleasure to do the same with you.
