I'm French, currently living in Toronto, I'm taking acting classes and playing music at the moment, discovering the city and meeting new people all the time. I traveled a lot in the past recent years, from Peru to New York City. Definitely planning on traveling more. I think people would say I'm down to earth, calm and kind. I cease life opportunities as much as I can and I always try to learn a little bit more about a little bit of everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't believe in hotels and tour buses. I think that if you truly want to know a place and understand it, you have to meet its people. This website is such a great opportunity for cultural growth, and I hope the people who are on it are willing to share their story as much as I am willing to share mine.

Interests

I have been into music as long as I can recall. I always sang all the time, trying to imitate the artists I admired. Over time, my love for music expanded to a love for art in general. I studied photography and film, watched many movies. As of recently, I've decided I would try and dedicate my life to it, through composing music and acting in movies. I am still eager to read many more books than I do now. I'm always thirsty for knowledge.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am open to pretty much anything, from experimental jazz fusion to satanic heavy metal, so try me.
This doesn't mean I like everything. My biggest influence is definitely Rock and all its variations, progressive, alternative, you name it. I grew more and more admirative of Radiohead over the years. I am also a big fan of Nine Inch Nails, Björk, Conor Oberst, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Snarky Puppy, Hans Zimmer (whose Interstellar soundtrack I cannot get over with).

I love pretty much all of Kevin Spacey's work, although I despise the person. Robin Williams warmed my heart like no other. "Her" and "Whiplash" blew my mind, I admire Leonardo Dicaprio... There are so many movies that left me speechless. I like the works of Fincher, Lynch, Tarantino, Nolan, Dolan... Overall, I like when a movie or a series surprises me.

These days I'm mostly reading books about self-improvement, productivity, and acting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a puppy's life from Peru and brought her back to the US with my best friend. She's now 2 years old and as happy as can be.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love watching movies and talk about it afterward. I can tell you about my trips to the US and Peru, or I can sit and listen to you. I may give you some singing lessons or tell you how to play your favorite guitar songs. If you're into video games, we're gonna have a good time together. Weirdly enough, I really enjoy cleaning and organizing stuff too.
