Hey there, my name's Corey. I'm a triple crown hiker (I've hiked the Pacific Crest, Appalachian and Continental Divide Trails). I've also hiked the Te Araroa in New Zealand and a 2,000 mile road walk from Huntington Beach, California to Prince George, British Columbia. And now I'm currently lightly traveling round the world.

The above taken into account, I guess I can class myself as a pretty outdoorsy person. I'm up for all kinds of adventures; I love to hike, I also enjoy a bit of bouldering, slacklining, listening to music, watching movies and eating a ton of good food! I'm definitely excited to explore the Vegan foods of the world!

I intend to use Couchsurfing along the way to meet and chat to locals and let's be honest, a bed every now and again will be a very welcome respite!

I'm really excited about the huge variation of people I'm going to be able to meet along the way and I hope Couchsurfing will be able to help me do that.

I appreciate pretty much all music though I tend toward Rap and Reggae.

I'm also up for pretty much all movies but if I'm putting it on it's usually Action or Comedy.

Metaphysics, History and Travel for books, mainly non-fiction but I've been dipping my toes into some softer fiction every once in awhile.

Super vague responses I know, but truthfully I'm hardly picky about much and enjoy all kinds of entertainment!

Well I guess getting my triple crown! Or maybe even more than that, is being able to say I've hiked over 11,000 miles in the past 5/6 years.

Walking saved my life. Before my first thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail I was lost and in need of purpose. Hiking did that for me. I now give presentations when I can to youth groups about my walks in the hopes to inspire them to get outdoors more. Eventually when I finish my walks, I want to work with at risk youth.
