About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live. Love. Learn. Pursue Justice. -- in no particular order

ABOUT ME

I’m the type of person that always wants to get the most out of life. So I like to travel, meet new people and get out and do different things. The life I’ve chosen so far has generally been divided between 3 places: Canada, where I’m from and where my family is; Brazil, because I’ve been practicing the Afro-Brazilian artform of capoeira for the past decade and a half or so and where I lived and worked for a few years with the international NGO Oxfam

PHILOSOPHY

"Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience." (Paulo Coelho)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe strongly in the idea of the commons and in community initiatives that involve supporting others and are not all about money. Couch surfing is one of the prime examples of this today on a large scale. It is a great way to travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed a few times in France, once in Quebec and once in Sri Lanka. Haven't hosted many people as of yet, because my living arrangements haven't really allowed it, but looking forward to giving back and hosting people soon!
