About Me

ABOUT ME

New to Woodridge. Very open minded, ambitious, and spontaneous. Eager to meet new people who enjoy the simple things.

PHILOSOPHY

If being crazy means living life as if it matters then I don't care if we're completely insane

Interests

My interests are very diverse and common. I play guitar every once in a while along with painting. These are things Im not really great at, but I like doing them. I like taking bike rides, swimming, hiking, playing board games, taking pictures, dancing, farming, painting, laughing, learning, watching, listening to stories, playing music and meeting people who enjoy doing the same kinds of things.

Music, Movies, and Books

almost anything acoustic. Im so weird and not picky at all when it comes to music. I find the talent it takes in almost every genre.
Stuff I grew up with: Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Elton John, Jackson Brown, Alison Kraus, Van Morrison.

I'll always love: Counting Crows, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, anything 90's as a matter of fact. :) Panic at the Disco -__- i know. Missy Higgins, Patty Griffin, Anna Nalick, Zac Brown Band, Dave Mathews Band, John Mayer Trio, Sara Evans, Katy Perry, and oh so many more.

I've recently listened to and enjoy: Mumford and Sons, Bon Iver, Manchester Orchestra, Fun, Gotye, Band of Horses, Passion Pit, Walk the Moon,James Blake, Young the Giant, Alew Clare...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked two years at a psychiatric hospital in Kentucky on a geriatric unit and was very out of my element. Eventually I learned to love geriatrics and have found that I am the happiest when I am helping someone feel better or work hard for something they want/need. Because of my job as a Mental Health Asssociate there I realized that becoming an Occupational Therapist is something I would love to do for the rest of my life so I am now trying to get back into school where I do just that.
