About Me
Hey guys, what's the craic?
My name is Corey, but do accept alternatives such as cozza, core, corndog, cornetto, corlander, and other nonesense.
Grew up and lived in the beautiful city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. I currently work as a bartender and a barista so if you love a good cocktail and a coffee for the cure the next morning, I'm your guy.
My previous travel adventures include hitchhiking across Euope, interrailing across Europe, living, working and travelling in Australia and floated around Vietnam for a bit too. i recently just got back from tripping around Nicaragua for a few months travelling and working in a couple hostels along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing as a recommendation from my brother who has had some awesome travel stories from surfing peoples couches and just as many stories from hosting them. And so, I am hoping to have the same luck and meet and get to know some amazing people on my journeys and hopefully make connections so they come to Belfast too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Like a lot of people my music taste is never the same always listening to new things but more recently but preffered artists would have to be Tash Sultana (above all else), Tribal Seeds, Fat Freddy's Drop,Sticky Fingers, Jeremy Loops, Real Estate, Tame Impala, Mac Demarco, Jack Johnson, the Beautiful Girls and Foy Vance (just to name a few).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In August 2014, my brother and I hitchhiked from Amsterdam to Pula, Croatia. The amazing thing about Pula is that it hasn't let tourism take over its culture. It is still the old city it has been for years. Me and Conor and no idea about the city or what it had and in one of our midnight walks around the city we literally stumbled across a collesium, very similar to the one in Rome. We approached the arena, simply jumped the fence and had the entire arena to ourselves. We fought each other in the middle thinking we were gladiators and just chilled on the seats listening to some nice music enjoying the moment. It was very unbelievable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share memories just as much as stories with hosts. I'm a friendly and atmospheric person and would like to think that whoever is generous enough to put me up is up for sharing memorable moments even if the stay is short and sweet:)
