What am I doing with my life?

I am a Gamification Architect working with an international team to create a mobile app that engages people to perform various acts of kindness through a game-like experience.

I am traveling around looking to get input from, what we call Dreamers - those people who believe in making the world a better place. People like the Couchsurf community!

In my past, I served with AmeriCorps VISTA where my role was an Academic Coach (the life coach of education) at a college in Vermont.

My future: I have been invited to serve with the Peace Corps as a Youth/Community Development Facilitator in the Philippines.

I think people who are a part of this community are different. They have something special about themselves and how they interact with the world around them. In my couchsurfing experiences I have crossed paths with people that have a higher purpose in life, a commitment to helping, and a strong sense of curiosity. How could I not want to associate with people like you?

Also, I'm looking for help! As a gamification architect, it is my job to integrate game-like concepts into our mobile app for performing acts of kindness. I believe that the best product is one that is a result of collective input from people that would be users of the application. This is why I am here. To get your input in the early stages of development. I would love to talk with you about our vision and get your insight and the things that you would want to see incorporated.

When my little cousin was 5 years old, due to family problems, needed a home and was going to be put up for adoption. My parents, sister, and myself decided to bring her into our home and make her part of our immediate family. She is now 18 years old and I no longer have a little cousin because now I have a little sister.

I practice a lot of yoga and have some experience in leading classes and would love to lead you in some stretching sessions.

One of my favorite hats to wear is that of a Coach (think of it as a Thinking Partner). My philosophy of coaching is guiding the way to personal success. What this means is that during my coaching sessions, I don't give advice; rather, through effective questioning I help you develop strategies for making progress on goals that you may have. I would be honored to sit down with you for 30 minutes and have a serious coaching session. Examples: creating goals for the year, improving your sleep schedule, incorporating more fitness into your routine, plan for applying to new jobs, what car you should buy, literally, anything you that you have a goal/problem with we can think together and make progress!

I enjoy giving massages and am always looking for constructive feedback on how to improve my techniques. So if interested, I'd be happy to help release some tension in your body.
