ABOUT ME

I love my work. On the weekend I mix drinks and tend bar in a local cocktail lounge for extra cash. About a year ago I picked up a Saxophone and learned/am learning to play in my spare time. Every year I enjoy quality time with my father and brother when we go archery hunting in the autumn for whitetail deer and turkey hunting in the spring. We also ride motorcycle together throughout the summer months as well. Life for me is all about eating right, getting enough sleep to stay healthy, and exercising as much as I can. In the next year I wish I would make more time for some of the outdoor activities that I love to do such as camping, rock climbing, and swimming. Above all, traveling is a passion I think about all the time. When I traveled for the first time, I found it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. Visiting Europe and just the travel experience itself simply heightened all the senses and made me feel awake and alive. It was a change from my normal day to day, it was different. I hope to experience that again in the near future.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have a philosophy but this is a great quote instead. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ' who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? ' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
