I quit my job in Chicago to allow more time and energy for travel. I love getting to see different parts of the world from a new perspective, and revel in being a tourist the first time I visit a new place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up for CS after hearing great things about it from lots of people. I think I accidentally attended a CS party in Chicago once, and everybody there was awesome. So far I've been lucky enough to visit friends and have a ready place to stay, but I'm ready to make new friends with couches!

Music, Movies, and Books

Guardians of the Galaxy had exactly the right mix of action and comedy for me!
I mostly listen to pop (Best hits of the '80s '90s and TODAY!), but I appreciate a wide range of other music as well.
Once in a while I read a grown up book between YA sci-fi/fantasy series ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Equatorial Guinea we hiked out to the volcanic beaches to survey the endangered primate population. The mix of absolutely stunning, remote physical location and the rarity of the wildlife we were able to see still boggles my mind. It was definitely a life changing trip.
