INFJ, type-A, introvert, take whichever psychological label that helps you understand who I am a little bit better. I'm Corin.

I study social work full-time at my local university and I dream of becoming a lobbyist for mental health issues (meaning: don't bring up mental health issues around me, I'll just go on and on). Right now I work part-time with individuals who have developmental disabilities, I offer assistance wherever they may need it.

I lean left, aka I voted for Bernie Sanders left (but not Jill Stein left). Politics are very important to me, but even more so: respect for humanity. I don't care if you're conservative or liberal but respect for all humans no matter our differences is what I look for in the people I'm around.

I'm getting into crystal healing and meditation, so if you know anything about that then feel free to reach out! I'm writing this profile at 3:00 am so it'll probably change once I can screw my head on straight and get some rest :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I'd like to make new friends and what's a better way to make a new friend than to offer your home to some stranger from a faraway land? (Hmm...there's probably a few better ways haha.) I'm excited to meet open minded people from all over!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really digging the Book of Mormon soundtrack right now, probably because I saw it last week so maybe it wear off. The Chicago and Hamilton soundtrack have been in my head forever, they aren't going anywhere. Non-theater related: Weezer, Cree Summer, (everything from the early 2000's)

My favorite movie is whatever movie I last saw, I have the worst memory so I can never remember the plot of a movie longer than a week. Thus my favorite movie is Barry.

I love a lot of books but it's 3:00 am and I need to go to sleep.
