ABOUT ME

After traveling two and a half years around the world, including working six months in Canada at a ski resort, and living and working in Germany, I am finally homeward bound. Though of course I couldn't fly over South East Asia without stopping to see what sort of adventures I can get myself into.

I really enjoy photography and artsy fartsy stuff, I love creating with my hands. My favorite place to be is at the beach and I am a happy smiley person who is very optimistic about life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate very selfishly at the moment, as all I have ever done is surfed. But for all of those New Zealand enthusiasts, I will be hosting in good time when I go to University. And then there will be a couch for you to crash on!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Iv'e had some amazing experiences couch surfing, by far the best were in NYC and Zurich. Also had one pretty bad experience though... but it is such a great way to travel and meet people from other cultures and countries, regardless of the bad experience, I keep coming back.

Interests

I spend most of my time doing...
Photography - Taking photo's and creating memories usually of my travels.
Eating yummy food - Food just tastes so good, it warms my soul.
Artsy fartsy stuff - Making things with my hands I find very relaxing, I especially love making dream catchers.

And going to...
Picnics - (always involves food, friends, sunshine life does not get better than when making merry times with friends)

The beach - Ahh the peaceful sound of the waves, and the soft sand between my little toes.

Live concerts - Some are shit, some meh, and others freaking amazing!

Festivals - Happy days spent with friends wallowing in your own filth. Fusion 2013 in Germany was by far the best Festival I have had the pleasure to attend. Pure magic!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Kingdom of summer, Up, Spirited Away, Ponyo. Arty fart films, and any movie produced by Hayao Miyazaki.

Music - Aloe Blacc, Miike Snow, Kimbra, Youth, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, The Paper Kites, Soley, Bon Iver, Sean Mackey, bonobo, allefarben, some wob wob, electro, electro swing, minimal, techno. Yeah generally my music taste is forever changing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To choose to choose to choose, I cannot. Every place I have visited and lived I have had amazing awestruck moments, it would be impossible to pick only a couple.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone, even those with different interests or beliefs. Its good to experience the other side of the fence now and again.
