Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed. Now I want to host.

So far, all my couchsurfing experiences have been positive experiences, both as a host and a surfer. It's a great way to meet interesting people doing interesting things.

My tastes in movies, books, and music run eclectic.

Music: Bluegrass, R&B, and *loving* dubstep right now.

Movies: Pulp Fiction (my all-time favorite), Drive, Moonrise Kingdom, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, A Streetcar Named Desire, Romeo & Juliet (Baz Luhrmann's), Her.

Books: Reading Anaïs Nin's diary right now (volume one), Lives of The Mayfair Witches series, Kingkiller Chronicles, Ender's Game trilogy, The Living Dead anthology, A Song of Ice and Fire series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Germany. Lucky enough to have done some traveling abroad. Met some great people. Does couch-surfing count as amazing?

I've taught knitting. Happy to share insights about successful blogging. I'd love to learn more German by practicing with someone. I can practice English with those learning it.
