ABOUT ME

I am often either looking high into the trees and sky, or looking at the ground trying to find artifacts from people that have been in places before me.

Living in Squamish for now, but my feet are restless and I crave to see the northern lights again above me.

I spend most of my day within the forest surrounding Squamish, or down at its beach reading and walking the dog.
I enjoy indie folk concerts and walking around downtowns as much as I like to hike in the wilderness.

PHILOSOPHY

I make a point to remember that the best thing that has been created is a new day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to invite anyone that wants to hang out to do so. If you are in the area and need help finding camping locations, I know quite a few. I can show you neat areas to go to that aren't always in the travel brochure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After a roommate of mine introduced me to this site, I traveled across Canada using this website to locate friends and places to see and visit. Each place was unique and held wonderful people. I wish to continue this experience.

I love to read, hike, talk for numerous hours about Anthropolgy and archaeology related news, making random crafts, going on wild adventures. Fantasy books and movies are where its at.

Straight up Tolkien nerd. I haven't expanded my literary field since starting Uni and stuck to mostly fantasy.

Music is a mixture of folk music with screaming banjos and blaring accordions! I also have a soft spot for late 60s/early 70s rock/soul. Other than that I listen to dubstep when I can stomach it.

Had a deer nibble my tent while I was sleeping in Banff.

A storm at the edge of the world.

Lightning lit dance party on top of a hill over looking a frozen bay.

Sunrises and sunsets over vast differently areas. Stars located in the same location but different.
