Overview
About Me
Hey, I'm Corinna, 22 years old and a solo traveler on a world trip. Since I finished my study in sociology last summer, I gave up my flat, sold my belongings and travel the world with a minimalistic backpacking lifestyle. I like to be spontaneous so I don't really have a plan for my trip, don't know in which country I'll be next and when my world trip will end. In the best case, it will last for my whole lifetime.
I see it as a purpose in my life to make the world to a better place. Even if it means that I have to wait in line to help someone else. For me, altruism is not a self-sacrifice, because it makes me happy to make others happy. So I´m trying the best I can to live a conscious lifestyle. That means not to harm any living creature. Thus I'm a vegan (sometimes just vegetarian while travelling, because I don't want to make a lot o fuss) and concerned with fair trade at the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best part about traveling is to get to know the locals of the country. Through Couchsurfing, I'd like to get a better impression of the countries typical lifestyle than a hotel could ever show me. So far I got to know just amazing personalities and that's the reason why I keep up couchsurfing. It's such a nice imagination to have friends spread all around the world.
Interests
Besides traveling I spend most of my time with filming and editing for my YouTube Channel. That's also a part of my job I'm financing my trip with. My Channel is like a public travel diary whereby I want my subscribers to get a feeling of being on a world trip, too. In the best case, it's no big deal for you, me sharing my Couchsurfing experience online so that my subscribers get to know the culture of the countries I'm visiting. If you don't feel comfortable with it -just let me know :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The world trip I'm doing right now is the most amazing thing. It's such a contrast to my previous living so that I completely get out of my comfort zone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think the best thing a person can do is to work on personal development. So I can share my mindset and way of thinking and also learn from others since I'm interested in different views of thinking.
