I am from Germany and at the moment living in India for one year as a volunteer in Mangalore, Karnataka until March 2017. I work with children, who I love, but on the weekends I like to go out with my friends and travel as much as we can. As I don't know, where I am going to study afterwards, I can't tell about my hosting possibilities yet, but there is space in the smallest place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know a new country or city is only possible if you meet people who live there, as you will see only the superficial things otherwise. So I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get connected and to share your cultural experiences.

Interests

As I am in India for one year I have the opportunity to see a lot of great places, which I really enjoy! I've met interesting people and all of them have a lot to tell. I like to listen and discuss while having a great time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different music, from classic to rap or pop.
I love John Green as an author. My favourite book is "Mister God, this is Anna" by Fynn and everytime I read it, there is something new to find out and feel.
Some of my favourite movies are "Les Choristes", "The flying classroom" (it's a kids movie by Erich Kästner), "The Intouchables", "Into The Wild"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Sikkim with two of my friends and we went for paragliding at the Himalaya mountains.
