About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people from around the world, experience different cultures and learn about them from real local people, open my eyes to new places I would never have thought of before ...

ABOUT ME

I'm an open heartened caring person and I enjoy laughing and having fun with others and sharing special memories. I'm very laid back and get on so easily with people from different backgrounds from across the world; I find people so interesting. I truly appreciate the differences in other cultures and learning from them, who best to show and enjoy the local gems of a place than with true local people !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted in Cork city while I was in Uni but since then I have moved to London and I'm no longer able to host as I don't have my own place. I'm still more than happy to meet any wandering travelers and show them around London town. I miss hosting and I hope to be able to do it again soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The whole couch surfing idea is incredible! It's opened up a new avenue to meet different people you would never have met before. I have been to many hostels and met loads of really cool people...it's how I found out about CS.
I have hosted on a few occasions before and it was a great, positive experience. The people I met, makes me glad that something like this exists and how it can help people in more ways than one.

Interests

Music, Festivals, gigs, Reading, travelling, museums, parks, nature, meeting people, socializing, telling stories but I also love to hear other peoples stories. I love eating out and finding new quirky places with a bit of character to hang out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : My taste in music changes a lot but I love indie rock, soul, jazz and electronic. I'm also open to different types of music and I love to bond with people over music and being introduced to music that's new to me.
Movies: Fantasy is by far my favourite genre, followed by horror and comedy. Recent favourites; the theory of everything, stella, maleficent and Vikings (admittedly that one is a series). I also love any movie with Simon Pegg in it!
Books: As with movies, I love fantasy books, from George R.R. Martin and the blade itself trilogy. I try to read from different genres form time to time, some favorites include the book thief, angels and demons, half the sky etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to a few European festivals, I interned in New York for 6 months and I was able to travel around America while living there. The west coast was such a highlight.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will teach you how to make my lovely healthy spag ball.
I will share fun memories with you.
I'm trying to learn French but failing miserably. It's so hard!
