ABOUT ME

I'm 26 years old and a physiotherapist working in the Southeast of Austria. I am a creative and spontaneous travelling soul. Luckily I found a job I love so much I cannot imagine working in another profession and that is why you will sometimes find me with my anatomy books or analysing how people walk... ;)
Also about 4 years ago my boyfriend Flo and me started a travel blog that is keeping us very busy as a second job.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess you know that sensation that every time you leave your home to travel or stay in another place abroad, you learn more about yourself. This continues to amaze me every time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted when I was studying in Vienna and visited some couchsurfing events there but now we live in a small city where we did not host couchsurfers from the online platform yet. Still somehow there seems to be always somebody sleeping in our guestroom or on our couch, so this place becomes often very international.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If you are talking about this platform, my experience is next to nothing, a little hosting 3 years ago and the craziest and best couchsurfing week in Ireland. Still I end up couchsurfing at friends' or friends of friends places very often.
Right now we are hosting a hungarian schoolgirl for 3 months as a host family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably one of the best things I did, was my trip to Madagaskar. I was incredibly lucky to have the chance to live with 2 families who made me fall in love with them, the language and the whole country within a second. I cannot even describe how much I learned and how grateful I am for this experience .

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to talk like a true styrian (this part of Austria) - it sounds a little like dogs barking, but it is very funny! my dad is a baker ans he tought me how to make different breads - sweet or spicy :)
But in case you are wondering - NO massages, because I am a PHYSIOtherapist ;)
