About Me

I am an open and outgoing person who enjoys to travel and meet other people. I love spending time with people who don't have the same mother language, not the same age or not the same culture than I do cuz thats how you learn sth about yourself, and about life and what makes you grow.

I am working in a Translation Agency as a Project Manager. I love being in contact with so many people all over the world and having to do with so many languages. I m a real communicationist :-)

In November 2015, I quit my job in order to go on a round the world trip for one year.
The trip was amazing. Cannot tell enough stories of it *haha*
I loved it. Met amazing people during the year and the hospitality I experienced was just awesome.

Since then, I have moved back in Germany, but live in Mexico for the winter, as I don't do well with German winters anymore.

After hitchhiking around Japan and sleeping in the tent, not speaking any Japanese, travelling to Lebanon and Iran on my own, I became a bit steadier and don't travel so much anymore, but still have that adventure gene inside of me and my eyes light up and have that sparkle when I tell about my travel stories (at least that s what people tell me a lot).

Here to expand my horizon and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the exchange CS has to offer.
I love meeting new people, staying with locals, enjoying their advices, getting to know a place better than all by myself or with a guidebook ;-)
CS is so much better than staying in a hostel or hotel. Not only do you have sb who can give u advices about their city or region, but u can also learn so much about another culture when staying with a local. In every country I was staying with CS hosts so far, I enjoyed it really much!
There was not even one bad or negative experience.
I'm very flexible when it comes to spend time with the host, sometimes I have been staying with hosts that had not so much time and sometimes I have enjoyed some days with spending the whole day with the host. I guess it always depends on what plans everybody has.

Interests

Meeting new people, having conversations about travel, different cultures, life, whatever :-)
Listening to music, watching sunsets and sunrises, hiking, acro yoga, volleyball, meetups.
I am a total foodie, love cooking food, going out for food, talking about food, learning how to prepare food from different countries.
