ABOUT ME

I love to serve people and talk to randomers on my travels! I'm eager to learn and see more of life and the world we live in. I left in January 2014 for Guatemala to volunteer, left for a job in Ohio in May and was back in Guatemala in September...I had to come back for my heart. Been there ever since!

PHILOSOPHY

Peace does not mean to be in a place with no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart.

Growth happens outside of your Comfort Zone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living in Antigua, Guatemala and though I can't take guests in my home I would love to meet fellow travellers and share some Guate Travel Tips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has only been a pleasure so far to meet other couch surfers!! Whether it has been showing a lovely Spanish guy around my favourite city Galway, or eating authentic Valencian paella in the beautiful Spanish coutryside, Couch Surfing has brought nothing but a smile to my face.

Interests

Sharing happiness amongst people, be they strangers or friends is a wonderful thing. I love doing it and seeing it in others! :)

I have a passion to serve others and I am ready to take on the challenges and responibilities that brings with it!

I adore dancing and looking silly! Swing dancing especially has a special place in my heart...I am hooked on Swing!

My faith keeps me going whatever the weather!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ella Fitzgerald, hands down, no one beats her!

I am a sucker for animated movies like 'Up' that have a great story behind them! I also love films that are based on true stories like 'Milk' or '12 Years a Slave'.

What can I say about books...I love reading myself to sleep amd would open any book given to me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of the Mist Trail in Yosemite National Park..so stunning, I cried!

Camping at sunset at the North Coast of Ireland on a summer's day..beautiful...where else would you want to be??

Conquering the monsterous Volcan Agua that overshadows Antigua, Guatemala!

Laughing until I cry with friends..those moments are priceless!

I really want to learn to ride a bike! I never had one as a child and it is something I really wish I could do!
