Overview
About Me
I'm a big leftie liberal feminist type who enjoys pizza, politics, wine and cooking.
I love to listen to people when they're talking about something they love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to lend a hand to genuine people who want to travel and experience a local perspective without damaging the housing market... I've surfed and hosted a few times each and am looking forward to doing more of both.
Interests
I cook and eat a lot, and from as many cuisines as I can get my grubby mitts on. I also run and spend time at the gym, and I enjoy theatre, film and reading. I'm trying to improve my Italian day by day, even if it's incredibly difficult!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll watch anything once. If it's Mean Girls I'll watch it a thousand times with zero shame. Musically, I like a little of everything but not too much of anything. Books is way to large a thing to make a list of!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling around SE Asia by myself was very special. Moving to another country where you don't speak the language and making a not-too-huge mess of it is something I'm proud of.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make a decent curry, if the weather is good and all the signs are in my favour. I'm working on my spaghetti cacio pepe, too.
I'm always looking to learn new things, so anything you can teach - from cooking to another language - is all cool.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A home, some time, advice, Italian phrases to get you from A to B and fed properly, a glass of wine...the list goes on.
