ABOUT ME

I like campfires and blanket forts and talking about things deep into the nighttime. I like exploring, reading, drawing, documenting, dancing, photographing, rhyming, arting, writing, wishing, wondering and wandering and burrying treasure. I don't like hand sanitizer. It's cold, and gross smelling.

I give people presents by hiding things in their empty shoes.

I like to listen to people talk. Stories are the best. I'm up for trading stories any moment of the day. Honestly, one of my favorite activities of all time is just to go for walks. Walks with friends or strangers or dogs to explore with. All I really want it just to walk around with you and we can find cool things on the ground and talk about what superpowers we want and I might take photos.

*I don't drink or do drugs but I will happily share a pot of tea or a dance with you*

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I find that the more I travel the less I am interested in the sights and the food and the more I am interested in people. I want to explore the minds and lives of others - especially if they are different then me. To form genuine connections with new people. To learn more about the world.

Peter Pan, The Little Prince, The Velveteen Rabbit and Winnie the Pooh, Fight Club, Rant, Glass Castle, The Book of Chameleons, Everything by Francesca Lia Block, The Field Notes of T.S. Spivet, Abarat, The Golden Compass, McSweeney's, A Humument. Oh those are all books... movies and music: Wes Anderson stuff, Amelie, The Fountain, The Future, Princess Mononoke, Wristcutters a Love Story, Where the Wild Things Are. As for music, I love the vast vast majority of it. Especially if I can dance to it.

I rode through the desert on the one day it rained for a whole year. The raindrops made all the giant black scarab beetles wake up underground and they all started digging out of the sand til the sky was full of humming black clouds.

I am also always happy to listen to whatever anyone wants to talk about. I walk around with a sign that says "Free Listening". I listen to strangers, and stories and hard scary things a lot. So if you want someone to talk to ~ I'll always be here.
