I was born in Ireland, but have lived in Minnesota since I was five years old. I attended the City of Lakes Waldorf school, DeLaSalle High school, and graduated from St. John's University with B.A. in Environmental Studies. I've always enjoyed traveling; having been to 15 countries, both hemispheres, and the Arctic Circle. I appreciate conversation more than most anything, learning from the people I met in my travels. I'm always happy to help those around me, a trait of Minnesotans that I carry proudly and I think exceptionally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve backpacked through Europe and South America. I’ve always enjoyed staying with locals, it garners a more holistic and meaningful experience of the city/country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three months living in the backcountry of Patagonia, Chile, working alongside 9 other students with a conservation group for my semester abroad.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I believe my Spanish to be limited, I have been told I qualify for “conversational Spanish.” You’re welcome to ask me to teach you, but take it knowing that I’ve only taken three classes of it at university.

I know that I’m young, I’m always willing to learn anything you have to offer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my labor, and my stories. I don’t carry much, and therefore I have little to offer. I learn quickly, and enjoy helping wherever I can. Additionally, I enjoy storytelling, I believe it is the most human activity.
