About Me
Hey there! I'm a friendly New Yorker on my second gap year between high school and college. I spent my last year organizing volunteers on a political campaign and am now taking some time to explore the world, meet new people, work, and immerse myself in new places.
As I’ve gone on many adventures these past two years, I’ve made a quest for belonging; the deep relationships I've developed are what have given me meaning. Being from a vibrant city like New York, I love meeting and sharing stories with new people, finding the wonder that lies in all places, and opening my mind to other perspectives.
I'm not sure yet what I want to do once I finish my studies, but I'm particularly interested in international affairs and would love to do field research all over the world for international development NGOs or think tanks.
I'm super into complicated board games: Concordia, 7 Wonders, Power Grid, Dominion, Puerto Rico, and Istanbul are some of my favorites. I'll make sure to bring Bananagrams and a deck of cards with me, and I'm psyched to learn how to play new games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The thing that has kept me exploring the most has been the people, and Couchsurfing is the perfect place to enjoy the best other humans have to offer.
