My alltime mission is to find some adventures where I learn as much as posible about other people and myself.
Currently I try to grow up having my first fulltime "job".

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Cornelis. Currently I volunter in a german school as a german teacher in Barranquilla, Colombia. Before I studied Biology in small town called Aachen in Germany. After my volunteering service I'd like to continue my studies in Ecology. I think I am a modest and curious human and easy to host. It's hard to put a person into words in such little space.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortuntately I cannot host anyone right now since I'm out of a room myself. On the other side I try to include couchsurfing whenever I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a roadtrip through the US with a friend. We met a lot of awesome people who made this trip extraordenary.

Interests

I played bass guitar for some years and now trying to learn the guitar as well although I still suck. In Barranquilla I found a band of teachers I play with. I like to read novels. Right now of course I'm interested in Colombian current literature. I also do a little spray painting. Currently I learn about computational studies and unexpectedly it is a lot of fun. Of course I'm also interested in politics and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Amelie... I dont know. im not much of a film guy

Music: It depends on my mood. I love Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Jethro Tull, Mos Def, Atmosphere, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Manu Chao, Bomba Estereo, Salsa, Cumbia, Techno, Rolling Stones ... Normally I prefer music with guitars but thats not necessary.

Books: I like current literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are certainly several moments, but the most special did not come up yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I finally can teach german. Also I can cook german food whatever that is. Generally I want to learn more about cultures and history. Specifically I would love to learn more about programming and Im always thakful for some music advice.
