Overview
About Me
I'm a 21 year old German physicist from Cambridge University who's in the states for an internship at MIT.
I love reading non-fiction, all kinds of food, classical music. I play Volleyball and run my College's Students' Union.
I'm a responsible guest who is friendly, cleans up after himself and honours agreements.
Oh, and I have an English accent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm adventurous and keen to meet new people. So far I've mostly met people from the MIT bubble and would like to learn what New Yorkers are like.
I like it minimalistic and don't think hotels are worth it.
Interests
I love understanding the world through the lens of physics. But my interests are far wider than that.
I'm curious about politics in different countries, maybe because I secretly want to become a politician myself. We'll see.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Oxford University Press' "Very short introduction" series. Every book of the series gives a 10h reading time introduction to an academic field by an expert. Among others I've read: Sociology, Law, Antisemitism, Sexuality, Economics, Intelligence.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked across Mallorca with a backpack only.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always keen to help out with Physics and Maths. I'm also happy to converse in German.
