About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting great people, Having rad adventures and Learning new things! Getting outside of my comfort zone to grow personally and creatively.

ABOUT ME

Hi couchsurfers! I'm a young American artist currently living and working as a freelancer Germany. I am a native of Upstate New York and have been living in Germany for 3 years. My happy place is my metalsmith studio at my 300 year old farm house on the outskirts of Hamburg. When I am lucky I do art exhibitions and fairs internationally and get to combine my passion with my favorite hobby-Traveling! My work is often inspired by human behavior, psychology and the relationships we have with objects and the physical world around us. For this reason I especially enjoy meeting new people, and getting to know life in a different environment. Couchsurfers are always enriching my work! Besides that I am always eager to pick up new skills or hobbies, and I am interested in reclaiming my spanish! I also am a Vegetarian/Vegan and I love to cook and try any and all new foods, and local favorites that I can! I enjoy teaching my artistic or cooking skills with anyone who wants to share a meal or an idea with me! I also love to swim, bike, dive and go out dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

Experiences measure the quality and satisfaction of life, thus I must always be seeking something new to experience, and never experience anything less than- to its fullest! There is a valuable experience to be gained in every situation you are in, big or small, one must always be trying to see, and seize it! Who's with me?!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

currently I am not able to Host, I am only surfing, I soon hope to be able to host in my own home near Hamburg, Germany

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a handful of remarkable experiences through couchsurfing, including super generous hosts that have cooked me 3 course italian meals, woken up at 5 am to walk me to a bus stop, or ensured that even if we only 9 hours total in town- we would accomplish all the best absinthe varieties in town! I have gone to meet up groups and new years celebrations and have nothing but positive, exciting experiences to report. Lovely people that put a face and a personality to the globalization problems of today.

Interests

I have hundreds more hobbies than I have time for and I am always looking to learn a new one. Show me what you got to teach!

If there is a tofu master cooker out there looking for an apprentice...just say the word...and I am there.
