Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I live in New Orleans. Lots of people want to visit New Orleans. I have a spare futon and a pull-out couch in my living room. If someone is on couchsurfing they probably want a slightly different view of the city than the typical tourist experience, and I can promise that for sure. My friends and I have hosted many friends at our house, and several friends of friends. Here are some places they have visited from: California, Virginia, Georgia, Texas, Chicago, Montana, Seattle, Israel, and Denmark. (The mix of cities, states, and countries kind of makes sense to me in my mind.)

I also travel pretty light sometimes. My friends and I have done tours of the southern United States and have tried many methods to get a place to stay. Usually we end up camping in state campgrounds, but sometimes we have had generous hosts. Here are some places where people have been kind to me: Birmingham (the Alabama version), Cairo (the Egypt version), Richmond (the Virginia version -- but almost the California version too).
