ABOUT ME

I am a full-time student of massage therapy nearly 3 months into my 7 month program. I also write fiction, draw a webcomic, and do various artworks and music.

In my free time I like to hang out with cats, watch cartoons and/or scifi which I'm kind of unabashedly super into, like one of my favorite cartoons is Lower Decks which is a Star Trek spin-off. I love Futurama and I still sometimes cry at the very mention of Firefly. I also sometimes study for fun, as I have a lot of special interests in anatomy, physiology and medical science, as well as any other type of science, really. I love to discuss special interests with people whether it's theirs or mine, but when it is a mutual interest there is a danger of getting lost in rabbit holes for hours.

I'm also transitioning FtM and have been on HRT for nearly 6 months as of now (February 2023).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Without going into detail, I was a victim of DV and had to leave my home, but need to stay in Austin for school. Currently staying at a shelter but would love the opportunity to meet people and explore new places in Austin until I can obtain a more permanent situation. I'm of the belief that one can never have too many friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been playing guitar since elementary school and though not an expert, I can teach basics. I also am a practicing massage student and would love the opportunity to massage as many people as possible in preparation for professional massage therapy.
