Overview
About Me
I was born on Guam and traveled that corner of the world as a child. Around third grade, my family and I moved off the island and into an RV to travel the USA. After two years of exploring, Colorado became homebase, and I spent the rest of my childhood there. I've bounced around a bit for a few years, then made Missoula, Montana another homebase. I work seasonally as a recreation guide.
Right now I live in my car! I have a Honda Element that I've made into my little mobile home. I'm out exploring, finding cool hikes and places to camp/live.
I like to do anything outside - hiking, camping, swimming, rafting, biking, climbing (but I'm a rookie!) - anything! My friends would tell you I'm fun and funny and I'd like to believe them. I want to live a life full of traveling, learning life lessons, meeting people, experiencing life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of sharing what you can. Couchsurfing offers an immersive, indigenous experience, which I think can enhance a trip. I also just love being frugal!
I love living in my car and the freedom and exploration that comes with it. But...let's be real, it can get lonely sometimes. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get some human interaction (and a shower!) and reflect on the things I've thought about in my solitude. It's also just a great and interesting way to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wide variety of music. Love going to live shows. Some concerts I've been to in the past include Milky Chance, Shakey Graves, Sylvan Esso, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Lake Street Dive, Leon Bridges, and Steel Pulse. Also like oldies, bluegrass, folk, rock, hip-hop.
Favorite movies are probably funny ones. Bill and Ted, Wayne's World, and Napoleon Dynamite are classics.
The best books are either by Ed Abbey or about the Grand Canyon. The last good book I read was Ishmael.
