Just got home from traveling Europe for a month. Small backpack, three pairs of clothes and by myself. It was fun. 10/10 would recommend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends in foreign countries while traveling. I have money for hostels, but locals know the area better than TripAdvisor and travel blogs. Also, traveling solo gets lonely, sometimes.

Sang “Hey Jude” via karaoke with a Brazilian couchsurfer... in an Irish Pub... in Berlin, Germany. Weirdest mix of culture I’ve ever experienced and it was awesome!

I LOVE politics. I’m 100% happy to talk about it over a beer or a regional cocktail. Seriously, will talk your ear off about it...especially if you have questions about the crazy USA system.

I am not a shabby cook. Not really a recipe guy, though. Just kind of throw stuff together and it pretty much always works out in the end (except for the first time I tried to make Chicago deep dish pizza in my apartment).

I like to think I’m decent at my native language, English. 😂 So, I am willing to channel my inner grammar nerd and help you with anything you need on that front.
