About Me
Frequent traveler and outdoorsman. Enthusiastic to camping, biking, swimming, gardening, and music. Enjoy meeting folks old and young of all backgrounds, with similar interests, and can carry on a conversation. Originally from DC, lived in NYC for 12 years.
I am a lifelong safety professional, helping to modernize data tracking systems and making informed decisions on program and policy updates to reduce risk and harm to workers. Now working for a major US airline, applying all of my skills, and enjoying all of the benefits that come with it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Preference to non-touristic modes of travel and accommodation. Seeing the world through the eyes of locals and learning from their experience is an invaluable aspect of my travel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Named in many special awards for volunteering and community service activities as a young adult, in recognition of ambition in fundraising to meet community needs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Exceptionally dry humor, intellectual discourse, the best music you've never heard of, and why NYC is the greatest and (sometimes) worst place to live.
