ABOUT ME

i'm cory. i play music. other things are fun as well. Geoff paints and goes to school for photography. this june we walked 27 miles in a day with 30 lb packs through the town of El dorado, kansas through the nature reserve. We learned hitchhiking no longer works within 10 miles of the el dorado maximum security state prison. who knew.

Dave in the doldrums of kansas had just woken up in the bar parking lot when he gave us a ride. he was still alittle drunk and had lost his house keys so was on the way to his ex's house to pick up the spare. thanks dave.

When hitch hiking, do not let the potential ride know where you are going. the results can be creepy and terrible. you ask them where they're headed and if they seem trustworthy enough, go along if it's the right direction.
There is no help from any strangers within 10 miles of any correctional facility.
Do not sleep under a train truss on ATV trails.
