Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to get to learn about a new place is to meet the people there. Travelling somewhere and only spending time with friends from home will never be as immersive as spending my time with those that actually live where I am visiting, and can show me past the tourist sights. Right now, I am also a student that loves the idea of staying somewhere for free.

Once I am established in life, I plan to host travellers as much as possible and show them around Boston or wherever I end up. Couchsurfing makes travelling more accessible and I love the philsophy behind it.
