About Me

ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me a smart, confident and open minded. I am a little shy but I love to meet new people and experience different cultures. I'm passionate about life and everything it has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately my current living situation won't allow me to host for couchsurfers but I can't wait to get out there and meet some amazing people who are hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just discovered this as a possible traveling option so I don't have any experiences yet. But, I know other people who use it and they have only said amazing things about couchsurfing. Hopefully I'll have some experiences to add to this section soon.

Interests

My biggest interest is simply to learn. I'm in the process of learning Italian and becoming a little better with Spanish. When I travel I love to soak up history and culture. I am always reading a new book and listening to music. I will try any type of food once as long as I know it's not going to kill me :) Anyone who knows me well knows that I hate driving!! I'm a big fan of public transportation and if I can make it on foot, I'm probably going to walk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently took a month long trip to the UK and one of my highlights was definitely heading to Roslin Chapel in Scotland. It's in an extremely small town right outside Edinburgh called Rosslyn. When I got off the bus I had to walk down a country path to get to the chapel. It was sprinkling of course, and the wind was whipping through the trees which covered the hills and valleys as far as I could see. I will never forget the sound of the wind, the feel of the rain and the realization of how small we are. It was an amazing feeling, and then I reached the chapel and it could not have been more beautiful! It's story is amazing!
