I'm a journalist by trade, currently working as a bureau reporter in a small Mississippi community through a national service program. I graduated from the University of Missouri and am originally from Ohio.

I love to be outdoors when I can whether it's biking, hiking, canoeing, or wandering. When I travel, I'm always looking for the best local food, places with a unique story, and new experiences. A huge thrill-seeker too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent two weeks canoeing in the Canadian wilderness building trail for the Quetico provincial parks, camping, and trekking. No cell service, one set of wet and one set of dry clothes. All food on our backs and cooked over a fire. Magical.
