About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is and will always be to see as much of this world as possible. And being happy and completely satisfied with me and where I am in life.

ABOUT ME

Hello hosts, hello couchsurfers, hello everybody :)

My name is Cosi and I currently live in the beautiful city Nuremberg in Bavaria.

I travel as much as possible. It's not only part of my life, it's also the best teacher I've ever had.

I used to live in New Jersey, close to Philadelphia though. I worked and studied in the states as well as I made a lot of important and breathtaking, sad and confusing, great and totally awesome experiences that I grew with and that probably made up a big part of who I am now.

I love music, sunflowers, walking barefoot, wine and warm summer nights. I love talking to intersting people. I love pottery and art. I love laughing. And long walks in the woods. I love campfires and camping, old VW buses and picnics. I love playing guitar, painting and writing. I love having a coffee in nice little cafés and long car rides. I love insence, good books and creativity. I simply love living. :) I love it a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because life is worth living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host, traveler and a potential couchsurfer for whoever may read my profile, I participate with all my heart. Idealy every couchsurf experience ends up with new friends. I would love to share experiences and storys as much as I would love to learn from others.

My flatmates and I love having people over at our place! EVERYBODY is warmly and most welcome here!

I love traveling with couchsurfing and really am a respectful guest who accepts all the rules and wishes a host has. I don't expect any host to show me around but am more than open to it if (s)he wanted to. I am super easy going and adapt to whatever the host is willing to give.

Since couchsurfing is based on trust only, I am going to write a reference about every host or couchsurfer. I always read the references of people and think it's a very important part of this community. Also, I think it's nice for everybody to read that you enjoyed your time together. I would ask you to do the same for me. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For me, couchsurfing is the way to go. I made my first experiences in America. I used to couchsurf there a lot and I made good friends and had awesome days that I'm deeply thankful for. All of my hosts really tried to make my time at their place unforgettable and without any exception, they were successful.

I never had a bad experience. And I hope that continues in future. :) Though, I know that not everybody signed up in this community follows the same spirit. Some just want a free place to stay, which is okay, but not what I think, couchsurfing is supposed to be. Traveling with couchsurfing opens new doors for people who are wiling to learn. For people who are willing to understand. Couchsurfing kindly offers the opportunity of getting to know people from a country, not just a country itself. That's SUCH an important difference between certain ways of traveling.

You can either be a tourist, or a traveler. If you choose to be a traveler, take couchsurfing as your door to new experiences - and the whole thing is set, I promise!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a very hard question to answer. I've seen so many amazing things. Starting with sunsets, flowerfields, broken glass sparkling in the sun, to people who truly love each other, people who are dancing to the music vibes as if there was nothing else on earth, to places I couldn't have even imagined they possibly could exist at all. I guess, life is just too amazing to find one specified answer to this assignment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you, that you make plans to eventually mess them all up, hah!

Things that happen unexpectedly are usually the best. You just go with the flow and life will lead you to where you're supposed to be, eventually. That's my experience. I haven't only been through sunny days, and still I believe that everything happens for a reason, and every encounter, every decision, every path you take will make sense in the end.
