Overview
About Me
For casual life, My biggest passion right now is travel. I like to travel to expand my horizons and to connect myself more deeply with the world. While in travelling I like to experience new and interesting cultures, experience art, and experience the natural wonders of that place.
I also like to have interesting conversations, learn in any way that I can, go to concerts, lift weights, go to lectures and conferences, meet new people, familiarize myself with new music, go hiking or on long walks, meditate, and go to fetish events. I live in a collective house right now and I tend to do a lot of activities with them.
On the more serious side of things, I worked as a researcher for a charity. I researched animal consciousness right now! I also organize to Meetup groups: one about rationality and the other about effective altruism.
Unfortunately, I have some serious repetitive injuries that have been making life and work difficult for the past couple of years. I don't let this get me down and it is made me realize how important health is and how much effort I should put into it.
I intend to donate all extra money that I earned that I don't need to live a frugal lifestyle to charity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of meeting people from the site and having a more personal experience of a city. I'm also very frugal and minimalistic, so hotel rooms aren't very appealing to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
In general I like media that keeps me thinking and challenges me. I also like when things are dark and edgy. I recognize that my tastes in media are eclectic, and I don't have the expectation that people I date will share them (though that's always nice!)
Music: I love metal, including folk metal, black metal, technical death metal. I also like some industrial (especially harsh EBM and NDH), some folk, and some military marches.
Books: I mostly read various kinds of nonfiction these days. I'll read anything that helps me understand the world better! It's worth saying my favourite fiction authors because most people prefer fiction: Orson Scott Card, Arthur Conan Doyle, Algernon Blackwood, Robert Sawyer, Edgar Allan Poe, Neal Stephenson, Robert Heinlein, Kurt Vonnegut, Jorge Luis Borges, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Lovecraft, Cervantes, and Shakespeare.
I have the books I like listed here!:
