About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to see the world and bring back pieces to share with my students.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel! My goal in life is to see the world, but along with that is to experience different cultures. Being immersed in a foreign country that speaks a different language is my idea of the perfect holiday. Not only do I get to see a new place but I enjoy the challenges of trying a new language. I have seen much of North America and Europe. This year I will be traveling to South Africa and Japan! If you have any tips, I would love to hear them!
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone should have a voice and deserves respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really don't know right now. I just started a family and moved to a new city. So I guess I will have to edit this once I figure that part out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with some people in China a few years ago. They were all very nice and accommodating. I also stayed with Mark in Panama City, Panama last year and had a wonderful time!
Interests
I am interested in traveling to exotic places. I also enjoy the arts, reading, cooking, listening to music and dancing. At home, most of my time is consumed by my family, friends and job. Therefore, I think it is important to get away and see what is happening outside of my community and learn from it.

Music: Jack White,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am continually surprised each time I embark on a new adventure. I think my time in Germany was amazing because through teaching English I really got to know many people from European countries and hear stories of their lives that were more personal than any book I read. My favorite class was a senior citizens class that I taught once a week. I learned so much from them and looked forward to it every week.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an educator, so I am constantly searching for something else to learn. I have found that through teaching, I am really the one that benefits because I learn so much through those that I teach. I would love to share my knowledge with anyone willing to listen. I am an excellent cook and have taught English abroad to English learners as well as American students.
