I am a 22yo Italian girl studying Tourism and Events Management in London. Next year is going to be the last and then I am planning to move year by year city by city, meeting new people and expanding my network as I can. I guess is because to be an events manager you need contacts, on top of me being extremely sociable and loving to travel and live different environments. It's 3 years now that I live in London, coming back in Rome (Italy) just for holidays basically... I also lived 3 months in Australia and, even though I have never been there, I kinda feel like one day I'll permanently move to Spain. This is because I love warm, welcoming people, the big smiles, the chilled out souls, the altruism and passion and all of the other qualities which are intrinsic in the spanish culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing for the same reasons of everybody else I guess!! ahah it's because I like to travel and I am super sociable so I also love meeting new people, and if I can get a "portal" which introduces me to people willing to host and be hosted for free well then why not?

I have couchsurfed once through a friend's profile and lived in a house where we were accepting surfers, and what I noticed is that at the end of the day couchsurfers and hosts are open minded people who want to see faces from the world, hear stories from the world, and help (or be helped) in the happening of a trip, which is the most enriching experience on earth. Surfers are people that even in the coldest places of the world have warm hearts and big smiles, because is people that is simple, and simply kind.
