ABOUT ME

Hello all! My name is Costanza. I was born in Italy, lived in Costa Rica for most of my life, attended university in Baltimore, lived in Munich for my master's and now I am based in Italy working as a Clinical Research Associate which means I get to travel to different cities in Northern Italy and sometimes to Dallas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of CS! I have surfed and hosted a few times. I really love the exchange of cultures and ideas. For me, it's very important to get to know my host/surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had amazing experiences surfing in Iceland and The Netherlands! So many different people and ideas, I loved it!!! I hope to do it again soon.
I've also had some fantastic surfers in Italy and in the US. You guys rock!

Interests

BEING OUTSIDE, sailing, being with people, going on loooooong walks with no particular goal in mind, having curious conversations, walking up/downstream in rivers, board games, eating new types of food, riding my bike, reading, dancing (salsa, merengue, swing criollo!!!), singing, asking questions, partying, smiling, exploring, swimming in the ocean, taking millions of photos, traveling...!

Music, Movies, and Books

I will read any book that is given to me. And while I've read many great things, one that has always stayed with me is Sum: 40 Tales From the Afterlives. READ IT!

I will listen to most music. I love ones I can sing along to the most :) All genres for that!

Not a huge movie person, but I do enjoy watching shows! Mostly comedies like Parks + Rec, The Office, Arrested Development, Scrubs, That '70s Show. But also some other stuff like The Wire, Lie to Me, Black Mirror...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

SAILING! Seeing sunset/sunrise/billions of stars while being in the middle of the sea with no other boats or coastlines is incredible. I hope to enroll to get my sailing license soon.

I'd be happy to practice any language I know with you. If you have some burning questions or thoughts and you need someone to discuss them with, I'm always up for some wine and a good, thought-provoking conversation!

I will love forever anyone who can tell me how I can use my degree and travel at the same time.

My friendship!! I will also bring you yummy gifts from my city or take you out for coffee/drinks :) I can share my thoughts, stories, and experiences and will want to hear all about yours!!
The only problem...I'm a terrible cook. But to compensate I'm fantastic at doing dishes ;)
